Today we paddled 34 miles from Scourie, round Cape Wrath and on to Durness. Winds were much calmer than they have been but the swell was up which made for a lively day. Lots of puffins, skuas and even a couple of orca spotted today! Here’s a short video update from the bearded duo!
Hi
So pleased your spirits are back up! You are doing an amazing and brave thing and look at the progress you have made to date!! How fantastic you saw some whales, my friend just travelled all the way to Canada to spot some!! Take care and Tony and I will come and see you when you get to the North East . Love Jan xx
Not just your wife – we all love you! Looking more like real fishermen everyday. Stay safe and hope to get to see you when you get down the East or South Coast. Saw Ron today and send best wishes. Ginny et al xx
Ahh thanks Ginny! Looking forward to seeing you on the East Coast! Andy x
Great to hear of your tales, amazing to paddle with whales. Gosh I would of paddled much faster than you when you spotted a fin coming out the water
Keep safe. Debs x
Hi guys, we met you at Scourie when it was a wee bit too windy to head out. The following morning you were up and gone towards Cape Wrath, so glad to see that you made it to Durness. We were there in our camper on Thursday Friday and boy was it windy, so I hope you were both hunkered down in your tent somewhere. Safe and smooth paddling. John and Lyn
